Blessings that "Reach" Us
We are all given various blessings throughout our days. Blessings do not become true blessings until we acknowledge them in our lives.
Hashem asks of the Jewish people that we heed His commandments and He will provide blessing. He guarantees that blessing will not only "come upon a person" but will also "reach the person". But doesn't blessing "reach" a person when it "comes" upon a person?
Blessings abound. Hashem asks us to have the blessing "reach" us in its totality when we recognize and acknowledge it for what it is.
". . . if you will listen to the voice of Hashem, Your G-d, to keep, to perform all of His commandments . . . all these blessings will come upon you and reach you . . ." Deuteronomy 28:1&2
